Meals at Blankednick Farm
A full English/Cornish breakfast or a simple light continental consisting of fresh fruit salad, yogurt, toast and marmalade or a number of choices in between, including vegetarian. Please talk to us about any special dietary needs. We also serve a varied choice of teas and coffee; all served overlooking the wooded valley.
Afternoon tea served on the day of your arrival is also complimentary, made up of freshly made scones, jams and preserves, all put together with large helpings of Cornish clotted cream.
Whilst we do not offer dinner, there are a number of local pubs and restaurants that we recommend: The Norway Inn, The Fox and Hounds, The Punchbowl and Ladle , The Old Quay Inn in Devoran and many more, all within a few minutes drive. For those guests who like a drink with their meal, we are happy to provide transport to the eating-house of your choice, leaving you to book your taxi for your return to Blankednick Farm.

The Oak Room En-Suite
Blankednick Farm’s Oak Room hand made furniture of English oak comes from the Belvoir Estate in Leicestershire. The room consists of a four posted bed, easy chairs, a 42” flat screen TV, magazines, tissues, mineral water and a complimentary hospitality tray, offering coffee, a range of teas, hot chocolate and a selection of biscuits. The spacious en-suite has a separate bath and thermostatically controlled pressure shower, together with bath sheets. We also offer quality complimentary toiletries and bathrobes, which are provided for the duration of your stay.
The Lime Room En-Suite
The Lime Room takes it name from a very majestic lime tree, planted possibly three hundred years ago, that sits in full view of the bedroom window as does the rest of Blankednick's beautiful grounds.
The room consists of super king or two singles, easy chairs, 37” flat screen TV, magazines, tissues, mineral water and a complimentary hospitality tray offering coffee, hot chocolate, various teas and a selection of biscuits. The en-suite is spacious with separate bath and mains fed thermostatically controlled pressure shower, together with bath sheets we also offer quality complimentary toiletries and bathrobes, which are provided for the duration of your stay.
About Blankednick Farm
Blankednick Farm occupies an elevated south facing position on the edge of the Kennal River Valley and enjoys delightful views over the surrounding Cornish countryside.
It was originally a Count House on the Bassett Estate and was so named because it was from here the wages were counted out and paid to the estate workers.
The grounds consist of fifteen acres of walkable grounds, bluebell woods (in springtime) and river walks in the heart of the beautiful Cornish countryside - All of which are available for guests to explore and enjoy.
Blankednick farm has been completely refurbished over the past three and a half years. AA rating for 2014 is 4 star (yellow) highly commended.
Blankednick Farm is a high quality bed and breakfast in the village of Perranarworthal situated between the city of Truro and the maritime town of Falmouth just off the A39 in Cornwall.
We offer off street parking that is secure due to the fact it is a quarter mile from the public highway.

We accept cash and cheques to the value of the accompanying bankers card only.
Deposits are taken for bookings at the rate of 25% of the overall stay, with the remainder being payable upon departure.
In the event of cancellations less than 48 hrs before arrival, payments received by us will be retained unless the room is able to be re-let in which case the full deposit will be returned.

Travelling south west on the A30 take the left turn that reads Truro A39 and continue on the A39 through the city of Truro, following signs for the A30 to Falmouth. When Perranarworthal village is sign posted (on the A39) watch out for the Norway Inn on the right. Take the second right turn after the Norway Inn, (try to spot our white reflective B&B sign on this turn). Travel along this road and turn right at the blue Blankednick Farm sign, then follow the signs along the private road.

Soaring above the surrounding rooftops, Truro Cathedral is located at the heart of this thriving Georgian city and wonderfully situated in the middle of the Royal Duchy of Cornwall.There are regular bus and train services to Truro from around Cornwall. There is even a passenger ferry service from Falmouth and St Mawes. For visitors arriving by car there is an excellent park and ride system just follow the signs.
